IPL- Emerging Players of 2020
IPL a league which started way back in 2008 has been a massive platform for the youngsters ever since. Every year several youngsters dream to gets a chance to showcase their skills at the biggest cricketing league.
Every season, there is a youngster who grabs the attention of everyone, but as the year 2020, this season is also very different. This year there have been several players who are grabbing this opportunity by both hands and telling the world why they are here.
Devdutt Paddikal
The 20-year-old boy from Karnataka who has taken the IPL by storm with his batting. In his debut season for RCB, the left-hander has already scored three half-centuries in his four outings.
A young leg-spinner from Rajasthan. Bishnoi was the highest wicket-taker in this year U-19 World Cup. In his debut season for Kings XI Punjab, he has already shown what he is capable of with his googlies. He has taken four-wickets with an impressive economy of 7.81 while coming to bowl, especially in the powerplay.
Priyam Garg
The U-19 captain announced his arrival with a brilliant fifty in his second outing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He scored a brilliant fifty under-pressure against the experienced bowling attack of CSK. His ability to score runs on a slow track against quality spinners shows what kind of player he is.
Shubhman Gill
The 21-year opener from Punjab is now finally getting his dues. He has been with the KKR since the past two seasons but couldn't get many opportunities to bat at the top. But this year after getting his desired position, Gill has shown his calibre by playing match-winning knocks against best.
T Natarajan
Thangarasu Natarajan has become a death over specialist in a few matches he played for the Hyderabad. The left-arm bowler from Tamil Nadu has shown how to bowl perfect pinpoint yorkers. In a match against Delhi Capitals, he bowled consecutive five yorkers to Marcus Stoinis in an over and helped his team secure two points.
